My Nanan and Papaw had an oil painting, painted by a relative, of the Grand Tetons in Wyoming that hung above their fireplace. That painting always captivated me. I remember that, as a young kid, staring at it for periods of time and going to that spot in my imagination. Today, that painting hangs in my home and I still stare at it and visit the location in my imagination.
Grand Teton National Park is one of the 10 most visited National Parks in the United States and is home to the Grand Tetons, a mountain range that spans 40 miles in northwestern Wyoming. The Park is approximately 310,000 acres and is just 10 miles south of Yellowstone National Park. The Tetons are visually stunning jagged mountain peaks that shoot up from the flat valley floor up to over 13,000 feet elevation. Ancient glaciers carved out lakes and areas that are perfect for hiking, camping, and sightseeing where one can view elk, bison, and bear.
I named this coffee for Grand Teton National Park because I thought it fitting that this magnificent place have a coffee named to honor it. The first thing you’ll notice as you raise your cup, is the caramel aroma. Then, with the first sip, the unmistakable flavor. Grand Teton combines sweet, stone fruit and caramel flavor. It’s a delicious, rich, organic, Colombian Supremo Medium Roast. Grand Teton will become your go-to coffee for that energizing start to an amazing day.
